"Hello Ma, Happy New Year!" My darling daughter just called up. She is alone in the house because my son and family are ushering in 2011 in their newly rented apartment. So that will be the new living arrangement for my two children. Anyway, since the apartment is in the same area, it'll still be easy for us to see our grandson whenever we go for a visit.
Looking back at 2010, it has been a good year for me personally I should say. Of course there has been ups and downs especially where my physical wellbeing is concerned. Anyway, Syukur Alhamdulillah, I have been able to manage it well.
There was this one particular episode that led to the plant ,aloe vera, being confirmed as 'The Plant' in my life. In early March I experienced a bad bout of bodyache. It ached practically in every joint , muscle and nerve!! So I prayed for guidance in every solat that I performed. Soon it dawned on me to try applying the aloe gel on my aching body. Syukur Alhamdulillah, it works.Later on, I decided to juice aloe gel with green apple and 'pecah beling' leaves in ionised water and take it every morning as breakfast. That I practise ever since. What more can I say but Syukur Alhamdulillah.
I made 2 trips back to my hometown in Oktober and November. The vists were for helping my parents amend their Wills. The person who helped them made the wills with Amanah Raya has already passed on. My Pa kept saying that even though they don't have much property, they don't want their 9 children fighting over it like their own siblings did. I learned a lot from the experience.
When making those 2 trips I killed another bird with the stone. I went looking for long lost relatives in an attempt to gather informations for building My Family Tree. It was a heart warming and exciting as well as invalueble experience.
What is my aspiration for 2011?
May our life be richer and healthier;
May we love and respect young and old, rich and poor, black and white;
May our beloved land be prosperous and safe for everyone;
May the world be filled with love and compassion
