Goodbye 2016 Part 2

Chaichien 2016 Part 2

Hmm...
Did not get to finish Part 2 in 2016.😝
Anyway, let me continue with...

The TV

TV came into my life when I was preaty young. My family could not afford a set. So I could be found leaning on the door of our neighbour's or squating by it... Come to think of it, shameless act of a little girl...😝😛😜.
I love dramas, movies, documentaries, news... Watchng from black and white to HD throughout my life and will go on till my last breath , I guess...
So what did I get from TV in 2016 ?
Emotional therapy from all the Malay dramas for one. Excitement, investigative n forensic knowledge from CSI, Law and Order, Da Vinci Code to name a few. Updates on local n international news. Travelling to distant lands by watching documentaries... This is the only mean to statisfy my travelling bug ever since both my knees succumbed to injuries sustained from sport years back n from gardening accident with ladder recently...😪😪😪.
Btw. I don't watch ghost stories...they give me nightmares 😁

So ' The Idiot Box' some called it, occupies a big space in my life... And I love it.... with no regret.😍😍😍

I always wonder, why people kept asking me am I not bored after becoming YB- Yang Bersara ?
For me. 24 hours is never enough... That is the reason why I sleep little though fully aware of the
health hazard it brings. Especially for a cancer survival like me. 😝

Anyway, back from a little digression...
What else does 2016 offer me ?
1. Experience in riding LRT and MRT.
An LRT station is situated a stone throw away from my USJ house.
So whenever we go to USJ, hubby and I  would take the train with our senior citizen cards and went places... Sometimes, my daughter would join us.
Only last week, hubby and I took the train up to Putra Height Interchange Station. Hopped on the Ampang Line and went to check out TBS, the big bus terminal in Bandar Tasek Selatan. I was there
before but this time it's different. Without traffic hussle and in the comfort of the train, I made it there with the knowledge that my next trip by bus from the kampung house to the USJ house would be
easy without hussle, Inn Sya Allah...👍👍👍

Experience with the newly operational MRT was another story....
We took the LRT to the KL Central. After asking for direction from the info counter, we waited for RapidKL bus at the stop outside. The hussle began.

The bus arrived after 15 minutes and the crowd had gathered.
The bus driver opened only the front door for the full capacity passenger to get down. After that free for all. Then he realized n opened the 2nd door. The bus was overloaded...😣
Instead of Semantan Station, the driver took us further to Pusat Bandar Damansara without making any announcement.😡
The MRT long train was full. Guessed it's filled with curios people like us. Moreover, the ride is free
till end of Jan 2017..☺️. There was an elderly Chinese man with a cloth bag on his shoulder kept asking us where is the next big towm along the route. He had seen KL n wanted to visit another big town. Could not understand much of his bahasa, we told him maybe he would like to see Damansara
Utama...

We got down at Mutiara Damansara Station. Had kopi o peng at Cineleusure Damansara b4 proceeding to The Curve n kater IKEA n Ikano. By then it was raining dogs n cats.
To go to the MRT station is not feasible. So my daughter googled for alternative.
We waiten for 1 1/2 hour to board a shuttle bus to take us from Ikano to Kelana Jaya LRT Station.
From there onward life was easy. We got home dead tired...😝 Syukur Alhamdulillah.
Maybe, when the MRT route is connected to the KL Central with some covered walkway built at strategic places, then the MRT ride would be fine. Inn Sya Allah.
Great exoerience there. Thankyou to the government for the infrastructure.

2. The Ugly side of Malaysians on the home front.
-  don't seem to be able to count one's blessing
 - believe hook n sinker in everything posted on the net n shared without thinking
- slandering is normal n fine by them
-never give a thought to the welfare of the nation when bad-mouthing her
- etc.
So sad...😪😪😪

Well Sayonara 2016 and hello 2017. May God bless us all with health, happiness,  longevity, wealth n prosperity and bless Malaysia with peace, stability, prosperity and sovereingnity...... Ameen.

Goodbye 2016 Part 1

Chaicien 2016.... Part 1

OMG !!!
I have not penned anything for the whole of 2016 until now. 😬😖😡
What excuse can I offer to appease my superego but the fault of my garden, Face Book, WhatSapp, Twitter or The TV...😜😜😁.

My garden..
On a hot day, it took me more than an hour to water all the plants... Then a few more hours to attend to the weeding, fertilizing, catching the yellow bugs and to admire the blooms.
Actually, I usually start attending to the garden after the normal routine of solat, Quran listening on iPad, loosening n stretching exercises and updating journal....
And that would keep me busy till lunch hour.
I have orchids, Adeniums, bougainvilleas, plants with scented blooms like ( kenanga, Jasmines, roses, Tongking, cempaka telur, kesidang, ), herbs like( pecah beling, belalai gajah, Mahkota Dewa, Hempedu Bumi, Ginseng  Jawa, ) etc....

Face Book...
Face booking is done usually on my iPad. Now that lucky me have received a Samsung J mobile for my birthday present, face booking is everywhere in the garden when I take a breather from gardening.... Anyway, I must admit that I have slowed down somewhat towards the end of the year.😁. Why ? Can't come up with a good reason right now...

WhatSapp
Ever since I learn to use this app. early this year, my life has been real busy and good I guess. My sis has started a group for our siblings, though not all involved, it is great. It brings us closer. With 2 oversea and the rest in different parts of the country, we keep in touch everyday.
Now that our aged parents have started to have problem with their short-term memory, I do my best  to call them daily and when needed I will update my siblings on their status. We will try to solve the problem as good as we could.... ☺️

Twitter
Hmm....
This app. sees me taking on a different character. I should say a more political characteristic. 😎
Some how, I, in my own small and simple way could not stand all those Holier than Thou, shameless, mudah lupa, slandering, never count their blessing, never see any good happening in the country, inhuman, never give credit where credt dues, End justifies Means.... kind of tweets. Based on facts that I gathered from following certain blogs, news over the year, I would not let them go uncommented. I know it is not much but it is better than letting them get away with 'murder'.
My daughter used to tease me that wow, her old mum has got such big fire in her....😝 Time and again, I would tell her, I love Malaysia and I will never allow anybody, be it local or foreign to do harm to her... And I would reminnd her to always count her blessing with what God has bestowed upon us and our nation. Never forget what we have learnt from our numerous trips to other countries... We are very much blessed.... Syukur Alhamdulillah.
