Just recovered from shock that I have lost the 2nd posting of 2013....
Going through the last entry, I discovered some spelling errors. In the process of making corrections, not familiar with the 'new' format, to my horror, I thought I have lost it for good !!!
Syukur Alhamdulillah. After trying here n there, I got it back.... Still wondering what I did wrong ?
Never mind, let me proceed with the 3rd entry of the year....
This time, I am going to talk about the cats under my charge.
Ady, is the female that came to our USJ home as a lovable adolescent many moons ago. She has grown into a lady so to speak; good natured, loves to be pampered, makes little sound, she will do the graceful jump the 1st thing you engaged her, will turns to the food whenever you stroke her...
Rex, is the handsome one who also came to us in USJ but as a kitty. My daughter, Aimo, picked him up , wet n hungry from the drain few months after Ady. They hit off nicely. He grew up in my kampung home. Aimo begged me to adopt them after she could not spare much time for them due to workload. Of course, she promised to supply the food....
So Rex grew up climbing trees n playing hide n seek.
One day, Rex went missing for more than a day.
After searching high n low, finally, I found him trapped under the fiberglass empty fish tank that I overturned on my anjung. He was lucky my anjung is wooden with space between the planks ! Rex is just like Ady, he makes little sound too.
When he grew up into a real handsome brut, Aimo, always commented that who would believe that he n Ady were just 'stray' ! Of course, I would say, the costly IAMS n our love n attentions have a lot to do with that....
Another day, Rex went missing again. He returned after a few days. He looked thin, hagged n sickly. Hubby n I sent him to a vet in BP. It cost us RM 300++.
From the itemised bill that we requested, we knew that we have been had.... That was the 1st n the last time we visited a private vet....
After that incident, we placed them in bought cages n the expenses also increased...
Boboy was picked up at the Perdana Court eatery. The stall assistant told us to bring him home as he
has been around scavenging for sometime. After we brought Boboy home n gave him a good bath,
he practically turned into a handsome prince. His bage colour fur looks rare but came of in handful. The hair drop could be due to his poor diet.....
Of the three, Boboy is the loudest, the most wainy n attention loving... Of course, he also attracts the most attention.
Now we have converted our store cum workshop into their home to give them more room. And my chores, taking care of them n the space doubled too. Nonetheless, looking at them n playing with them, makes it worthwhile....
